WOMEN praying with other WOMEN for WOMEN across the world
We call on all Christian women around the world to take at least 15 minutes every Tuesday morning to pray. We encourage you to mobilize as many women as possible to pray, individually or in groups. Take a few minutes to ponder & pray at each point of the guideline below & be open to intercede as the Holy Spirit leads.

We believe that God has called us as women, to intercede like never before, for His plans and purposes to be accomplished here on earth. Let us not slumber, but pray and call others to pray – for His Kingdom to come…
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.
The months of September and October are very prominent in the Jewish calendar. The sixth month is called Elul and is all about the preparation of the Bride. September 19th, is Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets, which is also the beginning of Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, starts at sundown on 27 September, the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkoth on October 2nd. On Sunday, October 4th, tens of millions of Christians in every corner of this planet will unite for the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, a day set aside each year since 2002 to raise global awareness and intercession for God’s purposes in Israel and for all it’s people. Thus far over 1200 Christian leaders all over the world are lending their support and the organizers aim to have 175 nations and 300 million believers participating this year. This is not about politics, this is about the Word of God. Right now there are increasing threats from many nations against God’s covenant city and there are escalating tensions surrounding the inhabitants of the land of Israel.
Let us pray that God’s plan for the nation that He calls ‘His own’ will prevail against all other powers. That Christians all over the world will pray according to God’s Word for this strategic nation at this crucial time.
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:5-7
…your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations …. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant…. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession.” Gen.17:5-8
We know the ancient history of Israel from the Old Testament of the Bible. The modern State of Israel was established on May 14, 1948 after nearly two thousand years of Jewish dispersal, and after 55 years of efforts to create a Jewish homeland. The 61 years since Israeli independence have been marked by conflict with neighbouring Arab states and the Palestinian-Arabs. There have also been many negotiations, and peace has been achieved with Egypt and Jordan. Israel’s democracy has survived under difficult circumstances and the country has prospered despite war, ethno-religious conflict, boycotts, mass immigration and terror attacks. Since the creation of the Jewish state, the percentage of the world’s Jews in Israel has grown; at present, about 40% of the world’s Jewish population are Israeli residents. Why do we as Christians have to pray for Israel? God refers to Israel as He does to no other country on earth as ‘His own’.(Lev.25:23;Joel 1:6;2:18;3:2;Hosea 9:3;Zech.9:16)
In Genesis 12:3 the Lord says in His covenant with Abraham; “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
The Apostle Paul made our position as gentile Christians clear in Romans 11:14-18; For I speak to you Gentiles;…. you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
The greatest gift to mankind, Jesus Christ, came to us as a Jew and Jesus Himself said to the Samaritan woman, “Salvation is of the Jews.”
Let us as the Church pray for the salvation of the inhabitants of Israel, both Jewish and Palestinian. Pray that Christians will understand that praying for Israel does not mean being against Arabs or opposing the rights of Arabs to live peacefully in Israel. That we will realize that the ongoing animosity against the Jewish state is a spiritual battle and that these forces can only be broken by intercessory prayer.( Eph.6:12)
“For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the Lord, your Redeemer.
“Judah mourns. they wail for the land, and a cry goes up from Jerusalem. The ground is cracked because there is no rain in the land. Although our sins testify against us, O LORD, do something for the sake of your name” Jeremiah 14:2,4,7.
This amazing testimony of Israeli and Arab youth uniting in prayer was received from Israel.
Thursday evening, August 27 2009, began the three-day youth gathering at an outdoor venue in the center of Israel. Approximately 1000 Israeli Jewish and Arab young people were expected to attend. For the meetings, a huge tent-like awning has been erected-beneath which will be over 1000 chairs; many, many fans; and large screens so that everyone could see. There has been much prayer and fasting over this conference-and some remarkable things started to occur. It was discovered that because of the drought, huge cracks had opened up in the ground where the meeting tent was to be erected. These would require the laying down of some kind of board flooring in order to set up chairs. People began crying out to the Lord for rain, even though it is totally out of season. Instead, after several days there had begun to come unseasonably heavy dews each morning, so saturating the earth that the cracks were beginning to close up of themselves. One day there fell such heavy dew that there was fear whether the truck coming with the tent would be able to get in without getting stuck!
Besides a wonderful answer to prayer, we saw these dews and what is happening to the cracks as a sign: Psalm 133:3 speaks of dwelling together in unity as being “like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion” ,a place where the LORD commands a blessing-Life forevermore. This conference had an unusually large number of both Jewish and Arab young people attending. Some of the Arabs are from the territories outside of Israel’s currently recognized borders, and this past week have miraculously been able to receive all the paperwork to enter for the conference.
PLEASE PRAY: For a God-ordained spirit of unity to cover the meetings where young people of both races come together. Pray that cracks which have separated generations from finding their place together would come together in the LORD’s love and grace, that low places would be raised up and high places brought down, that there come forth from the conference a new one-ness among the young of God’s army in His ancient land. Please pray for abundant rain, both spiritual and physical, for the land of Israel.
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!…It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore” Psalm 133:1,3.
Be blessed as you pray & spread the good tidings of the gospel of Jesus Christ!!!
Psalm 68 vs. 11 “The Lord gives the command; the women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host…”
