I know the Church and especially the Pentecostal groups sometimes go overboard with their discernment of situations and trends in so much that they have been labelled in the past as “people looking for a devil in all things”.
On the other hand, can we continue with such a casual attitude and accept everything the world has to offer to you and me, or should we stop for a while and check deep down in our spirit and discern through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, what is good and what is bad? How easy has it become for people (and I would say a large percentage of them to be born-again believers even) to accept and spend money to watch the latest trends in movies that depicts the evil side of men – who are capable of transforming into blood sucking werewolves? Just because it is portrayed as a love story?
The Apostle Peter gives us a stern warning to be wise and steadfast in the Word of God because of the times we live in:
- “But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.” (2Pe 3:13-14)
- And he continues in verse 15: “And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures”. (2Pe 3:15-16)
- “You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (2Pe 3:17-18)
With all this being said and done, we as children of the living God will have to be cautious – VERY cautious – in what we allow, what we accept as the norm/trend, what we wear, etc. because of all the symbols and demonic associations attached to this. Am I now “one of those lunatics that see a devil in all new trends”? No not at all. But I do have a personal testimony of a lady who worked with me and she witnessed to me about how terrible ill she became one year. The doctors had no answers and thought it was maybe a mental thing, but she got worse every week and stayed off work more often, spend time in hospital and test results showed absolutely nothing. But she felt like she was busy dying slowly and nobody could help her. Then a lady friend told her to remove her collection of owls – yes, owls she collected through the years in all sorts of size and form. At first she thought this is ridiculous and ignored it and maybe a week later removed them all and dumbed it in the trash. About two days later she awoke to find that she has recovered completely without taking any medication. In the story line on “Ripley’s believe it or not”, they would add at the end – “Is this fact or fiction?” Well, this is absolutely fact and not fiction. Hopefully you will also look a little bit deeper when you look at the following discussion. Why do you think did God use animals such as frogs as part of the 10 plagues? Because each plague was directed at one of the idols of Egypt – and the frog is believed to be the god of fertility. The Nile river turned into blood because they worshipped the Nile river as a god of provision. And so forth and this is a message on its own.
I received this disturbing email from my wife Venetia in regard to the exposure of the meaning behind the Monster drink. I checked it out in my Hebrew/Greek bible – and true enough found the same explanation of the Hebrew letter (consonant) “waw” and also “vav”, which is the 6th letter in the Hebrew alphabet, but it also have a numerical value of 6. Therefore, if you put the three letters after each other as in the symbol of this drink, then you will get 666. They camouflage the letter to some extent so that it would look like scratch marks of a monster (beast), but when compared with the Hebrew alphabet the similarities are just too close for comfort. The three lines that seems to make up the letter M are actually three Hebrew letters Vav’s – which each one has a numerical value of 6. The thing I find the most disturbing about all of this rubbish is the fact that it is so sublime. It’s like THEY are trying to trick you into having these symbols in your possession – because they know you wouldn’t want it if you knew what it meant. Or when you find out, you will react as if it does not really matter because you have become so used to it and even wear the t-shirts and other clothing.
Now we can also analyse the wording: Monster also means “beast” and energy also refers to power and force. And the manufacturers does not even hide this fact – see the wording on the can itself: “Unleash the beast!”. That means “release; allow to run free; give a free rein”, etc. Does it ONLY refer to release the “beast/ animal inside of you – OR – does it refer to something else? And believe me, I have seen people in which the “beast/ animal” inside of them has been released – which is definitely not a pretty picture.
But it does not stop there. Scripture reveals the following about the beast:
But the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. (Rev 17:7)
In the following advert they only portray six – maybe because of the numerical value of 666 on the symbol of the drink?
My question is this: Do you really want to drink stuff they clearly depict as demonic or even be associated with it? What kind of beast do you want to release (give free rein) in your life? Will you be able to control it?
Let’s see other scriptures from the Word of God:
And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” Rev 13:4
Just funny enough, yesterday (23/01/2012) the Chinese (and most other Eastern nations) welcomed the “Year of the Dragon” – but mostly disturbing is the Christians who flock annually to these countries and accept some of their traditions and influences by bringing the Buddha, dragon and other ornaments into their homes. Pastors who have been involved in “cleaning” of houses from evil spirits will quickly testify about the demonic spirits/forces that these ornaments release in a house – and mainly through sickness; marital problems; demonic oppression; rebellion amongst children; infertility; etc. I have not heard of any child of God who can testify that these objects has brought them any peace in their homes – because you will ONLY find true peace through Jesus Christ and being in relationship with Him – and not by putting a Bible in a special spot in the house or hanging a crucifix at the door.
“The second beast forces all people-important and unimportant, rich and poor, free and slaves-to be marked on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that no one may buy or sell unless he has the mark, which is the beast’s name or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: Let the person who has understanding figure out the number of the beast, because it is the number of a person. Its number is 666. (Rev 13:16-18)
Look at the pictures below and recognize they are intentionally and covertly (the Bible calls it deceivingly) getting people to wear the mark of the beast. And soon it will be second nature for all to accept – even the young children at school.
The Word of God is full of symbolic messages or types and each one means something in the spiritual realm. Therefore, the people who not only don’t believe in Jesus Christ but even openly oppose Him, will utilize symbols and its relevant meanings to capture the children of God as a prize out of revenge and jealousy. It is a well known fact that Hollywood is being run by Jews – who don’t believe in Jesus Christ – and do you still wonder why the movie stars would use His Name in profanity in most of the films today? The well-known Wiccan by the name of Starhawk once said: “In the world of the occult, many symbols are imbued (saturated) with power by the magician working in conjunction with the demonic spirit world. To cast a spell is to project energy through a symbol”.
Projecting evil “energy” through symbols and soft drinks??? So, all this time you have been under the impression that you are receiving physical energy through a harmless soft drink? What about the possibility of getting saturated with an evil spirit – slowly but surely? Is this fact or fiction? If you are filled with the Holy Spirit of God you will understand and heed to the warnings from His Word. Ef 6:12 – We’re under spiritual warfare, friends! THEIR biggest weapon is that most don’t even know they are under attack. THEY are using witchcraft against the masses on a scale so broad that it encompasses everything and most of the children of God can’t see at all for what it truly is – and on top of it they are making millions of profit from the very pockets of Christians to source other warfare tactics. I know some young people will even welcome it because in the stupidity of their youth they will not heed to the warnings and continue to accept it and it seems so macho to wear the trade mark and drink the stuff.
It is time for the true Church (the Bride of Christ) and her leaders to wake up and take a stand for truth and righteousness.
