One of the rules of the world\u2019s house that we must fast from is our dependence upon people.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Remember, the word “economy” means “rules of the house.”<\/span><\/p>\n

we are either living by the world’s “rules of the house” or by God’s. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the rules of the world’s house is that we must fast from is our dependence upon people. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

We need one another to complete the purpose of God in the world, but we don\u2019t need to depend on other people coming through for us for our needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s fast from the thought of depending on others to provide for us.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. <\/span><\/span>God will provide. <\/span><\/span><\/strong>Philippians 4:19 says He provides all our needs<\/strong> according to His riches and glory. <\/span>Renew your mind to the fact that He provides for ALL our needs, not just finances.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. <\/span><\/span>Dependence upon others is NOT humility, it\u2019s misplaced trust<\/span><\/strong>. <\/span>Psalm 43:5 says, \u201cWhy so downcast, O my soul? <\/span>Put your hope in God.\u201d <\/span>David is saying that when we put our hope in people, in government, in the world\u2019s \u2018rules of the house,\u2019 we will wind up depressed and downcast. <\/span>Shift your trust and hope to God. <\/span>Trust that He will direct your path. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>3. <\/span><\/span>Meditate on Romans 5:5 <\/span><\/strong>…\u2019Hope does not disappoint (let you down) BECAUSE the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.\u2019 <\/span>There is a hope that will never disappoint you\u2014Hope in God\u2019s promise and provision.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>4. <\/span><\/span>Realize that over-dependency upon others keeps you from loving them.<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>When you depend on someone doing for you, providing for you, coming through for you, you can\u2019t love. <\/span>Therefore you can\u2019t succeed, because love never fails. <\/span>You can\u2019t love them, because you need them too much. <\/span>Love gives. <\/span>Love doesn\u2019t wait for others to give.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. <\/span><\/span>Stop striving to get the things you need.<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>God wants to provide for YOU! <\/span>Realize God humbles you by FEEDING YOU. <\/span>Deuteronomy 8:2 says “He humbled you,<\/strong> allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know <\/strong>nor did your fathers know…\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>6. <\/span><\/span>Don\u2019t trust the provision, trust the provider.<\/span><\/strong> Deuteronomy 8:3a says \u201c…that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone…”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>7. <\/span><\/span>USE THE WORD to REALLY LIVE! <\/span><\/strong>Deuteronomy 8:3 b. <\/span>\u201c…but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.” <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

THINK IT & SAY IT:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

God will provide for ALL MY NEEDS. <\/span>I live by God\u2019s ECONOMY\u2014the rules of His house. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

I free myself from dependence upon others, and I will depend on God, empowering me to love others freely. <\/span>My trust and hope is in God. And THAT hope will never let me down, because God\u2019s love is in me, and He will never disappoint me. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>I stop fighting to get the things I need. <\/span>I believe God wants to provide for me. <\/span>He will feed me and I choose to receive it and fully accept His help<\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>I will not put my trust in what I have, but in the One who provides. <\/span>My every need comes from every Word that comes from the mouth of God, in Jesus\u2019 Name!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
