Over the years mankind has been searching and discovering various things on earth and beyond, changing things to make life on earth more convenient and pleasant.\u00a0 We call it technology and other people will call it \u201cmoney spinners\u201d, profits, competitive edge, etc.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the 70\u2019s it was quite a thing to send human beings to the moon, land and then return back to earth safely again while you can think of a million things that could go wrong with such an expedition.\u00a0 Ever since and especially in the past 15 years, the world has evolved drastically in the field of technology, health science, communication, etc.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

We have even come to the point where man could built an aero plane and carry hundreds of people onboard and land safely at another destination in another country which are thousands of kilometers away.\u00a0 And on a yearly basis, the shape and technology of these aero planes changed to the extend where they could fly faster, more cost efficient and with more safety features.\u00a0\u00a0 And today we board these flying tin cans without thinking of all the technology involved to override the law of gravity and other aspects such as cabin pressure, temperature and oxygen.\u00a0 We have a silent affirmation of believe that it will work and we will land safely again.\u00a0 Some of us still do pray about it because our faith and trust is not in man nor in safety features or in modern technology, but in the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mankind has \u201cevolved\u201d \u2013 yes, I want to use the word evolve because it means \u201cchange, grow, advance\u201d, etc.\u00a0 – through the advancement in technology and we can do things better and at a much faster pace than before.\u00a0 \u00a0But we have not become better baboons \u2013 we are still the same creation of God as man and woman, although we sometimes act as if we are coming from the jungle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Computers has made life much easier and through cellphone technology we can reach and communicate with each other much faster and more convenient.\u00a0 Even searching for a scripture or doing Bible study is much more advanced and easier than a couple of years ago. \u00a0Come to think of it, through technology this message which I compile in South Africa, will be read by hundreds of people across the globe in a period of 24 hours.\u00a0 For that matter, the proclaiming of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has also found some benefit from technology and praise God for that!<\/p>\n

But I don\u2019t want to uplift technology or the wisdom of man.\u00a0 The thought that I received this morning while praying was that mankind is able to conceptualize all these wonderful things, design and built it at such a fast pace these days.\u00a0 Only recently they have designed systems that has send a spacecraft to Mars and being able to \u201ctalk\u201d remotely with this machine and receive messages and other information back from the experiments being conducted on the planet millions of miles away from earth.\u00a0\u00a0 It is somewhat mind boggling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But what really is mind boggling is the fact that mankind ( a major proportion if it), still cannot figure out who God is.\u00a0 Scientists are spending millions in euros to build a machine (mankind can only create machines) to simulate the \u201cbig bang theory\u201d and to \u201csee\/discover\u201d the exact point of creation.\u00a0 Even these scientists admit they can come up with lots of theory, but one missing factor in it all still remain elusive for them and they call it the \u201cGod-factor\u201d.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Things which they cannot explain from science, but we can explain it from a point of faith in God and His Word .<\/p>\n

Coming back to the previous insert, mankind can only create machines and things from material that is already in existence.\u00a0 Through their acquired wisdom and knowledge, they can built various machines from the very material that God has created the earth of<\/span><\/strong>, such as steel, platinum, gold, diamonds, wood, etc.\u00a0\u00a0 A brand new aero plane is nothing else than the dust of this earth, as it will rust and rot away to dust again when not attended to by mankind.\u00a0<\/p>\n

How is it that mankind is searching for a creator, while the Creator of all has already revealed Himself through His Word and Jesus Christ?\u00a0 He is not on another planet.\u00a0 The Word teaches us that God (who is Spirit) became flesh and dwelled amongst us as a mere mortal man.\u00a0 But He also has another quality, and that is being completely man and completely God\u00a0 (Col 2:9; 1 Tim 3:16).\u00a0 Jesus Christ is the true revelation of God himself and therefore He was able not only to perform miracles of healing,\u00a0 or to have dominion over nature and the demons, but most of all to forgive people their sins.\u00a0 According to Scripture ONLY God can forgive your sins when you confess it.<\/p>\n
