{"id":2045,"date":"2012-11-12T13:54:56","date_gmt":"2012-11-12T11:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.galmin.co.za\/blog\/?p=2045"},"modified":"2012-11-12T13:54:56","modified_gmt":"2012-11-12T11:54:56","slug":"the-trojan-horse-of-deception-in-the-modern-church-of-today-part-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.galmin.co.za\/?p=2045","title":{"rendered":"The Trojan horse of deception in the modern Church of today: Part 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 align=\"center\"><strong>Introduction: <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0I am not sure where to begin and end with this awareness, because when you start with one aspect, it is like a can of worms that you open up. I will just write it down as the Holy Spirit give it through to me and you as the reader can discern between right and wrong, good and evil and hopefully will understand the seriousness of it all.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Let me begin with Scripture: \u00a0(Jer 23:9) <\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>\u201cConcerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, like a man overcome by wine, because of the LORD and because of his holy words. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>For the land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land mourns, and the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Verse 11:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0 &#8220;<strong>Both <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">prophet<\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">priest<\/span> are ungodly; even in my house I have found their evil, declares the LORD<\/strong>. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Therefore their way shall be to them like slippery paths in the darkness, into which they shall be driven and fall, for I will bring disaster upon them in the year of their punishment, declares the LORD<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Verse 13<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 <em>In the prophets of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Samaria<\/span><\/strong> I saw an unsavory thing: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">they prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Verse 14<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 <strong><em>But in the prophets of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jerusalem<\/span> I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">and walk in lies<\/span>;<\/span> they <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">strengthen the hands of evildoers<\/span>, so <span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">that no one turns from his evil<\/span>; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This was a very serious accusation from God against His prophets and priests at the time. They were prophesying good news to the people of Israel that misled them and it had no value at all and in the end brought only the wrath of God upon them all.\u00a0 During a morning service in 2008, I used the example of the Trojan Horse in a message at our local assembly, and as I was going through my notes again on\u00a0the Monday morning (which I never do afterwards),\u00a0 the Lord clearly spoke to me and said:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cThe Trojan Horse is IN the Church !\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I was quite\u00a0shaken up about this,\u00a0especially when the thought about it started to make sense and the impact it might have on people\u2019s lives and their faith.\u00a0 A few months ago I started to write a book about my ministry years and will include a couple of topics and lessons that I have learned along the way \u2013 and this topic will most definitely be one of them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this document is not to discredit churches or the leaders of churches, or launch a personal attack on specific people, but I am sure when you follow this teaching over the next few days, that you will perhaps receive new insight and understanding to be able to see the activities and things happening in local churches from a different light altogether. \u00a0And if you are a leader from a church and this is happening in your local church, that you will have the boldness and integrity as a true leader in Christ to stop this process and change it.\u00a0 This is NOT to scare you away from your local church, but the Church needs <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">to regain the gift of Discernment<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span> again, as without this gift the Church is blind and deaf.\u00a0 We are most definitely living in the end times and we cannot afford to accept any new gimmick and process to be valid and genuine, even if it is portrayed as <em>\u201cscriptural and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit\u201d<\/em> and that <em>&#8220;the Lord is doing a new thing<\/em>&#8220;. \u00a0God does not have &#8220;<em>to do a new thing&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; He has already fulfilled everything that needed to be done for our purposes and benefit and He is the God who was and is the same, yesterday, today even all of the tomorrow&#8217;s in eternity.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The<em><strong> purpose of this document is NOT to judge,<\/strong> <\/em>but rather to provide a guideline to discern between right and wrong, good and evil and the main focus will address the fact that people are speaking prophecies in Church and\u00a0post prophecies on Facebook and various websites\u00a0by\u00a0using the phrase:\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;<\/span><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.so says the Lord&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/em>It also seems to me that the prophecies of prosperity has abound over the last 4 years due to the world wide recession and therefore the people in the church are ready and open to receive any good news in this terrible and trying times.\u00a0 They would accept any good news and promise and even built their lives upon it. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The Scripture in Jer 23 is very clear about this issue when people speak on behalf of God, or uses His Name in vain. But let\u2019s use the advice of the Apostle Paul first in this regard as a guideline:\u00a0 <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies,\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">but test everything<\/span>;<\/span> hold fast what is good.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">Abstain from every form of evil<\/span><\/em><\/strong>. (1Th 5:19-22)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes, I have seen and experienced situations where true prophecies of God were despised and the Spirit of God quenched.\u00a0 Therefore, there is a very fine line of discernment needed to identify the truth from the false and we desperately need to adhere to Paul\u2019s warning to test everything \u2013 especially in these last days! <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">Do not accept everything as truth<\/span>!<\/span><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Not even this\u00a0teaching \u00a0as it is still your responsibility to do further research, test each statement, pray about it and let the true Spirit of God and His Word show you the Way and the Truth! But also do not depise it when it is true!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The History of the Trojan Horse<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The story of the Trojan horse, stems from the war between the Greeks and the people from the city of Troy.\u00a0 The city was fortified in such a manner that the Greeks battled for more than 10 years to enter the city without success.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Trojan Horse 1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.galmin.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Trojan-Horse-1.jpg?resize=111%2C113&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"111\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Trojan horse was the final strategy of the Greeks to be able to enter the fortified walls and gates of Troy and to end the conflict.\u00a0 They built a huge figure of a horse from wood and hid a select few men (warriors) in the belly of the wooden horse and then pretended to sail away from the war front.\u00a0 The Trojans was ecstatic that the war was finally over and thought the Greeks accepted their defeat and provided this wooden horse as a token of their victory.\u00a0 With this in mind, they pulled the huge wooden horse as a victory trophy through the gates and into the city boundaries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.galmin.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Trojan-Horse-2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Trojan Horse 2\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.galmin.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Trojan-Horse-2.jpg?resize=79%2C120&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"79\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><em>Various concepts of the Trojan Horse exist.\u00a0 <\/em>Any images or constructions are products of the imagination of the artists, as no images of the horse have survived even from <a title=\"Classical Greece\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Classical_Greece\">classical times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During the night, when the people of Troy went to sleep after all the celebrations, the warriors crept out of the horse and opened the gates to the city to the rest of the Greek army, who had all along sailed back under the cover of night.\u00a0 The Greek army entered and killed the people of Troy and destroyed the city <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">from the inside<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span> and thus ending the war.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The legend and moral of the story has become well known across the whole world and the phrase of \u201ca Trojan Horse\u201d is widely accepted <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">to mean any trick that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or place<\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although the priest and other people warned King Priam of Troy not to accept any gifts from the Greeks (because they could not be trusted), he ignored the warning signs and was too glad to see the Greeks leave in their boats. <em>\u00a0\u201cDo not trust the horse, Trojans!
