{"id":2063,"date":"2012-11-26T15:50:20","date_gmt":"2012-11-26T13:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.galmin.co.za\/blog\/?p=2063"},"modified":"2012-11-26T15:50:20","modified_gmt":"2012-11-26T13:50:20","slug":"the-trojan-horse-of-deception-in-the-modern-church-of-today-part-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.galmin.co.za\/?p=2063","title":{"rendered":"The Trojan horse of deception in the modern church of today: Part 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The following two deliveries of this series will perhaps shock you when you learn to find out what is happening in the modern church of today concerning the gift of prophecy.\u00a0\u00a0 But keep on reading and share it with as many friends and family as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Prophecies for dummies : <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>While I was researching this whole dilemma of false prophets and prophecies in the Church of today, I thought about where in the world would people get these \u201cDaily prophecies\u201d from \u2013 and then a thought along the lines of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>\u201cprophecies for dummies \u2013 guidebook\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/span>came to mind.\u00a0 And sure enough, when I Googled the name, astonishingly I found many websites that would either guide you <strong><em>\u201chow to\u201d<\/em><\/strong> prophecy and other\u2019s would give you a daily fresh prophecy.\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wow! Can\u2019t believe this?<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.propheciesfordummies.com\">www.propheciesfordummies.com<\/a>\u201d \u2013 it actually does exist! <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Other websites also exists where they will actually teach you exactly all of the skills and tools on how to \u201cprophecy\u201d without being caught out or being labeled as a false prophet.\u00a0 You can check out only one of them; the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u201cSkeptic Report\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span> in this regard.\u00a0 Be prepared to know that this man also goes by an ancient sorcerer\u2019s name and will teach you the tricks of the trade in prophesying \u2013 and most definitely not from a Biblical point of view.\u00a0 He is in actual fact revealing \u201ctrade secrets\u201d to the rest of the world.\u00a0 The following viewpoints (from this\u00a0&#8220;Sceptic Report&#8221;- website), \u00a0are only highlighted to prove my point that any bozo out there can compile a \u201cprophecy\u201d and feed it to the unsuspecting Church (other dummies), who eats it as truth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>\u201cRetroactive Shoehorning: a Prophet\u2019s best friend.<\/em><\/strong><em> Shoehorning is the basis for many paranormal claims, such as cold-reading, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is most effective with a high degree of symbolism. <\/span><\/em><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The <span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">human mind excels in establishing meaningful connections between unrelated things.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em><em>Few people fully understand this, and are thus ideal targets of shoehorned prophecies. For this reason, a large number of vague statements that can have multiple meanings (the more, the better), <\/em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">are an ideal prophecy.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Reconciling Prophet Guilt Syndrome<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><em> Every so often, you may have doubts about whether your abilities are legitimate. <\/em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">These may be accompanied by guilt pangs at the thought that you may be leading people to dedicate their lives to a lie.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><em> <\/em><em>Alternatively, you may be living in constant fear of embarrassment by errant skeptics who somehow got their greedy paws on the secrets of prophecy outlined above. These considerations will either nag at you until you die of a stress-related ailment, or you need to suppress them and be confident you\u2019re a real Prophet.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Convincing yourself you\u2019re lying,<span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"> but doing the world a favor anyway<\/span>,<\/span><\/em><\/strong><em> may come in handy at alleviating such concerns, but it\u2019s only a temporary solution. You need to believe in yourself \u00a0<\/em>(this is based upon\u00a0Humanism \u2013 Editor<em>) <\/em><em>to have any chance at making the Major League. But don\u2019t worry, this won\u2019t require any active dishonesty or effort on your part.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>As your confidence and number of successful predictions to your credit grows, you will find it increasingly hard to discount them all. You are not, after all, superhuman. You\u2019ll forget those failed predictions with the rest of your followers, and keep seeing new and improbable coincidences &#8220;too large to ignore&#8221; in the successful predictions you do make. People may report being saved from various problems after contact with you, or after reading and following your writings. Miracle reports to your name may grow in the retelling. You may have a spontaneously induced vision from prolonged ritual, fasting or hallucinogenic substances. And so on.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is just too much information to include here for this purpose but the following type of words are being used throughout this \u201cguide\u201d and that is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>\u201cDo you want worship, power, wealth, the ability to amaze friends, family and attractive females with psychic insights?<\/em><em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>To understand <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">arcane secrets<\/span> of the universe that will grant you supernatural insight into the future.\u00a0 <\/em><em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Resource for jump-starting your religion, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">gaining or adding to your mythical reputation,<\/span> obtaining additional followers, and many other worthwhile goals.<\/em><em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>These <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">esoteric techniques&#8230;.<\/span><\/em><em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The odds of that are <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skepticreport.com\/sr\/?p=449#large_numbers\"><em>basically guaranteed<\/em><\/a><em>, especially if you make it vague enough and invoke <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skepticreport.com\/sr\/?p=449#escape_hatches\"><em>prophecy-aiding devices &gt; like &#8220;partial fulfillment&#8221; as needed. <\/em><\/a><em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Luckily, much of your audience <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skepticreport.com\/sr\/?p=449#wishful_thinking\"><em>will want to believe in prophecy<\/em><\/a><em> already, while the rest will either need just a little encouragement,<\/em><em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Engage those brain cells in the audience in some pattern-matching exercises.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>This is something that transcends mere prophecy into all aspects of human life, with even doctors accounting for a notorious variation\u2013<\/em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>the Placebo Effect<\/em><\/span><\/strong><em>\u2013in double-blind studies.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Wishful Thinking: Play off their dreams, hopes and fears for greater success.<\/em><em> As a general rule, people flock to magical and superstitious explanations to mysterious phenomena.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Specifics, Dates and Deadlines: a Prophet\u2019s bane.<\/em><em> The first rule of prophecy club is, you don\u2019t talk about specifics or deadlines! These are the #1 beginner mistake, and have ruined many a promising career. Prophecy should almost never contain names, places, dates and cutoff times.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>To avoid a false prophecy which will either <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skepticreport.com\/sr\/?p=449#prophecy_apologetics\"><em>require some mental gymnastics to explain away<\/em><\/a><em> or (worse) haunt you for the rest of your career, avoid specifics and deadlines. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Have a special, visually impressive &#8220;magic hat,&#8221; ritual dress or something which you\u2019ll use when making &#8220;official, legitimate, inspired&#8221; prophecies.&#8221;\u00a0 <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">My question to you:<\/span><\/strong><\/span> Do you really want to be involved with someone who calls themselves \u201cprophets\u201d and provide \u201cdaily prophecies\u201d of which the basic foundation of it is clearly false? Not only is it false, but the very foundation of it could be Humanism and witchcraft!<\/p>\n<p>There is no purpose and no benefit from it and the Word of God\u00a0is clear about it &#8211; He\u00a0will not honor it!\u00a0 You are being misled and deceived and while you are listening to this false voice, you will not be able to hear the true voice of God in your life!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are busy with this process of sending out these prophecies \u2013 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Stop it now and repent! <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>If you are ready and building your life around it \u2013 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">STOP IT NOW and REPENT!<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/li>\n<li>Hear what God wants to say directly to you!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But it will not come pre-fabricated \u2013 it will come fresh from God and directly to you! But you will have to wait on Him, seek Him with all of your heart and He is faithful and will speak to you. God does not work in \u201cinstant\u201d relationships and solutions. Start to know His voice!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What about if my faith is still strong in God and I do believe the prophecies, will God not still bless me?<\/em><\/strong> Well, the people of Israel believed the false prophecies because they wanted to, but God did not fulfill it. Instead they received the opposite from what was prophesied.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>\u201c<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully.
