Today we are fasting from the thought that says: \u201cIf I forgive, I’ll be taken advantage of.\u201d <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

It is very tempting to give into this false belief, but don\u2019t give into that thinking. Forgiveness doesn’t mean tolerance. <\/span>If someone is hurting you, you don’t remain a punching bag for their mistreatment. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you’ve been abused, you don’t continue accepting it. <\/span>Get in a safe place.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, all of us need to trust God, regardless of what has been done to us.<\/span><\/p>\n

How?<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Remember Joseph<\/span><\/strong>–thrown into the pit by his brothers; then sold into slavery. <\/span>Bitterness could have eaten him alive, and would have, but he had something BETTER going for him.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/span><\/strong> Believe God is with you <\/strong>in your situation. <\/span>Genesis 39:2 said HE PROSPERED BECAUSE GOD WAS WITH HIM.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Prosperity is about: who is with you.<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>Joseph prospered because GOD WAS WITH HIM. <\/span>David prospered because God was with him. Psalm 27:3 says, \u201cthough an army encamp against me, I will not fear…\u201d <\/span>Why? Because Psalm 118:6 says, \u201cThe Lord is on my side, therefore I will not fear what man can do to me.\u201d <\/span>God is with you and He is on your side.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Believe that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU CAN PROSPER<\/span><\/strong>. (Isaiah 54:17) This is why most people struggle with forgiving others. <\/span>They think that what that person did can truly hurt them. <\/span>Yet the Bible says, \u201cNOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU. (Luke 10:19)<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>5. Declare with Joseph:<\/strong> <\/span>\u201cYou meant evil against me, but God <\/strong>meant it for good\u201d. I love those 2 words in the scripture: BUT GOD. <\/span>You see, no matter what they did to Joseph: <\/span>BUT GOD. <\/span>No matter what the devil tries to do to you: BUT GOD. No matter what mistakes have been made by you or against you: BUT GOD. <\/span>See God as the INTERRUPTER of people\u2019s sins against you. <\/span>He is the interrupter of the devil\u2019s plots against you. <\/span><\/p>\n

6.<\/span><\/strong> EVEN IF MAN DECIDES <\/strong>to hurt you or rob you of the best part of your life, nothing can prevail against what God has destined <\/strong>for those who love Him\u2014Romans 8:28, 1 Corinthians 2:9. <\/span>FORGIVENESS releases God\u2019s power to convert even the most sinister plots against you into good. JOSEPH BECAME 2nd in command to Pharaoh, saving the world from famine\u2014because He forgave. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

7. Believe that forgiveness, though it can\u2019t change the past, will open up an incredible future. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

THINK IT & SAY IT:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

I have something better going for me, than what others have done to me. <\/span>God is with me. <\/span>I will prosper because He is with me. <\/span>He is on my side; therefore no weapon formed against me shall prosper. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What others have done to me has no power over me or my future. <\/span>My future is determined by my choices, including my choice to forgive. <\/span>I expect open doors and incredible future. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What others have done to me cannot hurt me. <\/span>Nothing shall by any means hurt me. <\/span>What they meant against me, God turns around for my good. I expect God to interrupt all plots, weapons and sins against me. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Through forgiveness, I release God\u2019s power to convert all wrong against me, into good. <\/span>I believe that my attitude and action of forgiveness will open up an incredible future for me, in Jesus\u2019 name!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
