Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.\u00a0 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.\u00a0 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. (Isaiah 43:1-3)<\/p>\n

In today\u2019s life most of the parents are struggling to have a good relationship with their child.\u00a0 We just don\u2019t understand each other anymore.\u00a0 I have prayed to the Lord on how a relationship with a child must be, and His answer was: \u201cYour relationship with your child must be the same as your relationship with Me \u2013 Child and Father Relationship.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n

Do you practice the scripture as mentioned in Isaiah 43: 1 \u2013 3 on your children, or even practice any other Scripture on your child?<\/p>\n

Do you tell them what they must do and must not to do, but do not practice what you preach?<\/p>\n

Do you make promises to your child that you do or can not keep?<\/p>\n

Do you call them bad names or swear at them if they are disobedient\/rebellious\/did not do well in something? \u2013 The Father never calls us bad names or swears at us.<\/p>\n

Do you pray to the Lord that He must change your child’s attitude, but your attitude is also bad?<\/p>\n

Do you pray that your child must be saved, but you can not forgive your child for what he\/she did in your life?<\/p>\n

Did you ever tell the Lord that you love Him, but you do not even know how to show love to your own child?<\/p>\n

\n

Every child is created by God\u2019s image and we do not have the right to say that he\/she will be as bad as another person.\u00a0 BE CAREFUL OF THE TONGUE (James 3:6 \u201cAnd the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.\u201d )<\/p>\n

\n

The Lord gives us promises, love, encouragement, comfort, Word, trust, hope, time, relationship, inspiration, profitable doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness: so that we can be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works and more than you can ever imagine.<\/p>\n

\n

That is what the Lord wants us to give our child, you have called your child by his\/her name and he\/she is yours.<\/p>\n

\n

Start building your relationship with your child and see the good effects in the relationship with God.<\/p>\n

\n

Parents if you did\/do not have a good relationship with your parents start building a relationship with God and practice that same relationship on your child.<\/p>\n

\n

Educate and bring your child up according to the Word of God and not the way your parents did to you.<\/p>\n

\n

Teach them Deuteronomy 6 : 1 – 25<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
