Acts 2:38<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A woman had just returned to her home from an evening of church<\/span><\/p>\n

services , when she was startled by an intruder. She caught the man in the<\/span><\/p>\n

act of robbing her home of its valuables and yelled: ‘Stop! Acts2:38!’<\/span><\/p>\n

(Repent and be Baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ , so that your sins<\/span><\/p>\n

may be forgiven.)<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and<\/span><\/p>\n

explained what she had done.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span><\/p>\n

As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar: ‘Why<\/span><\/p>\n

did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to<\/span><\/p>\n

you.’<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Scripture?’ replied the burglar. ‘She said she had an Ax and Two 38s!’<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing scripture can save your life – in more ways than one! <\/span><\/p>\n
