Today we\u2019re fasting from thoughts of doubt, and attacking \u201cdoubt\u201d with our faith. \u201cI doubt that could happen.\u201d \u201cNo way!\u201d, etc. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus said, \u201cWhy did you doubt?\u201d (Matthew 14:31).\u00a0 <\/span>Clearly, He believes in us, and in our ability to be free from doubt. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s change it TODAY:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Discover the root of doubt. <\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Doubt comes when we judge our situation by what it looks like or what we feel, rather than by what God said. (2 Corinthians 5:7)<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Understand the meaning. <\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Doubt means DOUBLE; to be divided in your mind.\u00a0 <\/span>We must CHOOSE to believe ONLY the Word of God. <\/span><\/p>\n

3. Recognize the consequence of doubt<\/span><\/strong>\u2014James 1:6-7.\u00a0 <\/span>The one who doubts CAN\u2019T receive from God.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Starve your doubt<\/span><\/strong>. When the thought of doubt comes, replace it with the exact opposite thought.\u00a0 <\/span>For example, the thought comes: I\u2019m not sure I can overcome this.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Replace it immediately with:\u00a0 <\/span>I am more than a conqueror; more than an overcomer through Him who loves me. Romans 8:37.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Be child-like. <\/span><\/strong>Don\u2019t over-analyze. A child does not doubt.\u00a0 <\/span>You never hear 3 or 4 years old say, \u201cNo way.\u201d They haven\u2019t let reason and intellect, and life experiences dampen their faith.\u00a0 <\/span>See yourself as a child–A child of God. Accept what He says, and get rid of the \u201cno way’s.” <\/span><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 <\/span>Purify yourself in a NEW way.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 <\/span>It’s not about purifying from all wrong behaviors. It’s purifying from all doubt. Washing ourselves with the pure water of Gods promises. (Eph. 5:26)<\/span><\/p>\n

THINK IT & SAY IT:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I attack doubt today by choosing to believe what God says, regardless of what I see or feel. I will not be of those who don\u2019t receive from God.\u00a0 <\/span>I feed my faith with the Word and starve my doubts. I reject the reasonings and logic that contradict the Word and I read the promises of God to wash my mind and heart of all doubt, in Jesus\u2019 Name!<\/span><\/p>\n
